Okay – it’s been a few weeks since I felt my words warranted a sentence. This week was crying out for one. Enjoy!
Would my circumlocution be obvious if I was to tell you there was cock-a-hoop following the cloudburst that had put an end to the circumambient clamminess and washed away all signs of the Cobar shower that had dirtied the cobbler, making them look clottish.
Now please come back next week!
Love cock-a-hoop! My dad used it regularly in a derogatory kind of way.
And cloudburst has special significance to me – I try and avoid them when I’m working 🙂
I knew almost all of the words, but week 11! man, that threw me! Thanks for keeping this up, Jenn, it’s fun!
I take my hat off to you reading the dictionary! No wonder you don’t feel like you have time to read other books – THAT is heavy enough 🙂
